M8C with cover. This is the pickup many have been waiting for. The size is a direct replacement for EMG 808, Fishman soapbar or Strandberg 8 string covered passive pickups. Remember to change pots to 500K when changing from active pickups to these passive Monsters. 

These pickups are well known both for high power and clarity. The design is a combination of a unique winding and a ceramic magnet placed under the pickup to give you more of everything and caused many players to give up active pickups. With lots of gain on your amp, harmonics is a piece of cake. The powerful high output M model humbucker let your notes come through even with lots of distortion on your amp. The pickup has lots of low end and a good treble response which is needed for clarity.

These pickups are used on recordings worldwide. This model have the same windings and magnets as the open M8. The covered design will give this covered pickup a slightly lower output than the open design M8.
