USED Thorn Guitars SoCal C/S California Special #020 Sparkle TV Jones

Just in and what a treat!! This is a rare Thorn SoCal C/S. If you do not know Ron Thorn, he was responsible for all of the intricate inlay work at Fender Custom Shop for years, before he was hired by Fender as Principal Master Builder at the Custom Shop. He also hand swirled all of the 25th Anniversary Ibanez UV777 Steve Vai swirl models. 

This C/S is 1 of approximately 30pc made (#20) by Ron Thorn in his pre-Fender Custom Shop days. The new Fender California Special is a Masterbuilt CS model and they ask $10k CAD as a starting price. Now is your chance to get one for a lot less. 

This unit is alder body, rock maple neck/fretboard. It features a familiar and comfortable med/fat neck profile + 10" radius, so there is a ton of playability here. It has Ron's own proprietary tremolo design and a pair of TV Jones humbuckers (Classic neck & Classic + bridge). It shows very well - no dings/scratches to speak of and the Jescar frets are in great shape. 

This guitar ships with original tweed G&G hardshell case, trem arm and Thorn paperwork/hangtag.
