USED Thorn Guitars Rune #009 6 String Electric Guitar Cotton Candy Swirl

Just in @ Guitar Brando, an extremely rare Thorn Rune, built and hand swirled by former Fender Principal Masterbuilder, Ron Thorn in California, USA. This is a completely fresh take on the super strat that is pound-for-pound among the best guitars on the planet. One of only about 25 produced to this day, this Rune is of the highest quality and is available exclusively at Guitar Brando.

If this cotton-candy swirl pattern looks familiar, it is because Ron Thorn was the mastermind behind the 25th Anniversary Passion & Warfare Ibanez Universe swirl models. This Rune takes it a step classier with a gorgeous one-piece swamp ash body and white top binding. The pairing of hand selected figured, roasted maple for the neck and the highly figured birdseye maple fretboard provide a lovely visual contrast, while being tremendously stable. Offset "Rune" inlays and stainless steel frets over a 12-16" radius make this effortlessly playable. Rune offset inlays are done by the master himself - Ron has long been know as the best inlay luthier around.

Pickups are supplied by Instrumental Pickups. The STFY-3 (bridge) and Decomp (neck) are a beautiful pairing. Agressive and tight, but open and articulate. Everything you could want in a modern pickup. Hardware is supplied by Gotoh, including the amazing Floyd Rose locking trem. This is the peak FR style bridge. Smooth and accurate, but also easy to use and flutters like a butterfly.

This is a single owner guitar that has never left the studio space. It is in excellent condition with no damage to make note of.
