USED Ibanez Prestige JEM 7VWH Steve Vai Electric Guitar White

Just in, this is a well loved example of the iconic Japanese built Jem 7VWH from 2006, complete with Ibanez molded hardshell case. This is a stock guitar, with the exception of the magnet on the rear of the headstock, designed to mimic Vai's own modification to hold an Allen wrench.

This guitar has been played and does show signs of wear and repair. There is an obvious area where paint has been retouched on the rear side of the lower horn (outlined in the photos), as well as some minor dings/dents that are visible on the upper horn side/edge of body. 

Frets are in good shape, but could use a polish, no significant wear. Edge Pro trem (era correct) is in good operating condition and holds tune well. The action is set up to play extreme quickly. 

The JEM7V features an alder body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret fingerboard with pearl and abalone Tree of Life vine inlays. Components include DiMarzio Evolution pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Edge Pro bridge and Gotoh tuning machines. A thin basswood veneer is applied to the top and back of the body to prevent the finish from soaking into the alder and preventing the alder grain from appearing through the finish. The fingerboard is scalloped at the last four frets.
