USED Gibson B.B. King Lucille Black Gloss Semi-Hollow 2007 Electric Guitar
A very fine example of a rare and collectible Gibson B.B. King Lucille in gloss black. Built in Memphis in 2007, this guitar is completely stock and overall shows clean, though does have several spots where the binding has pushed clear coat up along the neck (shown in photos). These are clear coat lifting and not impact dings. Gold hardware shows nicely, but has minor tarnish, as expected for a 15yr old guitar. In general, this is a very nice, quality instrument and needs nothing. Inspected and setup in-house before shipping.
It includes the era correct black "B.B. King" hardshell case and paperwork.
Frets are in great shape, guitar has been thoroughly inspected and serviced and is ready to ship with no surprises.
The body consists of plain laminated maple top, back, and rims, with multi-ply binding on both the top and back. The neck is a three-piece maple neck with Gibson’s traditional rounded profile, a scale length of 24¾-inches, and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard that is outlined with single-ply binding and adorned with genuine pearl block inlays. Other premium appointments include the gold hardware, tulip tuners, Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge.
The 490R and 490T provide classic Gibson tone, and there are 2x volume control, 2x tone controls, a 3-way selector switch, a Vari-tone switch for increased versatility, and both stereo and mono jacks.
It comes complete with its original Gibson Custom BB King hard case and paperwork.
