Lightweight body is built for performance

The M-1000 was built to turn heads with its good looks, then wow the audience with its tone. It all begins with a 3-piece maple neck in a neck-through-body configuration with increased sustain. Two alder wings are attached to each side of the neck to boost resonance and provide a well-balanced tone. Finally, an eye-catching poplar burl top is added to the body. Once it's fully assembled, the body receives extra carving for player comfort. You'll appreciate the generous belly cut that makes onstage performance comfortable, and when you strap on your new LTD for the first time, you'll appreciate the deep cutaways that give you total access to the upper frets.

3-piece maple neck plays effortlessly

The M-1000 is equipped with a 3-piece neck-through maple neck. Carved into LTD's Extra Thin "U" profile, this neck is just bulky enough to grab chords, but more than thin enough to stay out of your way during intense lead exploration. The back of the neck has a slick satin finish to help you reach new playing heights, and you'll love the glassy feel of the Macassar ebony fingerboard and extra-jumbo frets. You'll enjoy effortless playability from your first lick.

Fishman Fluence pickups unlock plenty of sonic potential

This LTD's tone is produced by a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern pickups. These dual-voiced pickups create an impressive variety of tones, including modern active sounds and high-output humbucking tones. The tonal variety stems from the use of alnico and ceramic magnets in the neck and bridge, respectively. The Modern alnico pickup serves up active tones with a pleasing bass response. Switch to the bridge pickup, and the Modern ceramic will offer a crisper sound with extra distortion potential. And since these pickups utilize active circuitry, you won't have to deal with any annoying noise between notes.
