Just in @ Guitar Brando - very rare and desirable 1987 Hamer Chaparral Custom Set Neck in Yellow Pearl (rare factory upcharge). This is the second year of production and is an awesome example featuring the early, highly sought after options - set neck, ebony fretboard, Boomerang inlays, OBL (Bill Lawrence) West Germany produced pickups, 3 x mini-toggle pickup selectors (split/off/hum) and Floyd Rose.
This guitar is mostly stock, but the Hamer-branded Floyd has been replaced with a German Original Floyd Rose. There are numerous small dings, with some paint chipping on the tip of the headstock. It also features some very cool paint "wear-through" on the forearm contour - exceptional honest wear. Frets have been recently dressed and crowned, showing no pitting.
While no numbers exist officially, based on production capabilities at the time it is estimated that Hamer produced fewer than 500 Chapparal Customs, with less than 50 finished in Yellow Pearl. Here is your chance to own a beautiful example that plays and sounds amazing.
