This SD-50 is a fine example of a rare, slotted headstock, sloped shoulder dreadnaught that will delight the most discerning players.

The Larrivée SD-50 is a 12 fret slope shoulder dread that has the feel of an OM sized guitar, due to it’s 15” lower bout, but the tone of a big dreadnought. Strummers, flatpickers, and fingerstyle players will all feel at home on this 1 3/4” bone nut.

The standard Larrivee symmetrical parabolic bracing system, and enlarged soundhole, create a unique tonal balance that allows for a greater mid-range punch, and emphasized low-end, making it a versatile choice for all styles. Featuring Larrivee’s highest grade mahogany, herringbone trim, and an angled bone nut, the SD-50 is a flawless example of modern building techniques meeting traditional appointments to create a workhorse instrument for the gigging musician.
