Just in!! What a RARE occasion to share - Master builder John Cruz takes this over the top with a Duncan JB humbucker, insane sparkle finish and Floyd Rose bridge w/locking nut!

Medium heavy relic on this guitar expertly done by one of the best living masters - John Cruz. This guitar features a heavy red flake sparkle overtop of a 3 tone sunburst. The relic work is immaculate and tasteful - nothing unnecessary.

Alder body, quartersawn maple neck with a gloriously fast playing 12-16" compound radius and custom thinner neck profile - think Charvel.

This is a used guitar, so full transparency - this guitar has been re-fretted with 6100 sized jumbo Stainless Steel frets (at the request of the previous owner). The re-fret was done by Freddy Gabrsek (Freddy's Frets - Alex Lifeson approved).

If you are looking at this guitar, you probably have an idea of how special it is. Fender Masterbuilt guitars are tremendous players and are one-off models that feature attention to detail not seen with the average "team built" Custom Shop guitars.

Some things to note:

-The kill switch that John Cruz was using was not working correctly and shorting out. It was replaced with a premium Tesi switch and it works perfectly and actually looks much better.

-The stock neck pickup originally in the guitar was microphonic and not working. It was replaced with a Duncan Hot tele to keep up with the JB.

-The output jack was not seating correctly and shorting out. It was replaced with a much better and perfectly working Stew-Mac revised Tele jack.

-The tuning gears are replaced vintage style Gotoh locking. 4 of the 6 original tuning gears were not working correctly and were severely damaged due to them over-relicing in the process.

-The stainless frets were installed by one of the best in the business....Fred Gabrsek. He is Alex Lifeson's Guitar repair guy in Niagara on the Lake. Freddy's Frets.
