USED RARE PRS Custom 24 Signature #986/1000 Limited

Before there was Private Stock, there was Signature. PRS Guitars best of the best from an era when massively figured tops were almost unheard of. At the time PRS was using only the best materials to build their top tier guitars. These guitars all feature hand signed headstock logo by Paul himself.

This one is player's grade - not a case queen by any metric - but it plays incredibly. It has been resto-modded to incorporate newer PRS design into the older model. The pickups and rings were replaced with PRS \m/ Metal set and new style rings (countersunk screws). The knobs were updated to lampshade style and the pickup selector (previously a 5 way) was removed for a push/pull tone and a mini-toggle pickup selector has replaced the sweet switch.

ALL ORIGINAL PARTS ARE INCLUDED - 5 way rotary, speed knobs, original HFS/VB set, pickup rings and sweet switch.

The fretboard on this is some of the last "standard" Brazilian rosewood and there is some wear in the cowboy chord positions. You can see wear throughout the finish - small dings and marks from decades of play. The brass bridge shows wear through the nickel plating in some areas (original 1pc design - thought by many to be the apex PRS bridge).

This guitar does not come with paperwork/hangtags, but it is setup extremely well. Plays and sounds amazing. As mentioned - all original parts are included (2 sets of PRS pickups) and this comes with trem arm.
